The musical "Blinded by the Light" produced by Warner New Line Pictures tells the story of an immigrant child living in the UK who finds ideals, beliefs and freedom through the music of Bruce Springsteen.
The film is directed by Indian-born director Gurinder Chadha , whose previous works include "Bend It Like Beckham" , "Viceroy's House" and "Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging" . The film is adapted from a novel by media personality Sarfraz Manzoor and is largely based on his real experience.
