Agnes is a single waitress who lives with her gay girlfriend RC in a run-down motel in Oklahoma. Everything in the past was full of darkness for her, and she still couldn't get rid of the psychological shadow brought to her by her ex-husband's tyranny and struggled painfully between nightmarish memories and pale reality. The loss of her son a few years ago also cast a duckweed of grief and self-blame on her psychology. More unfortunately, not long ago, his ex-husband was released from prison after serving his sentence.
When Agnes was completely desperate for life, a perverse and paranoid retired veteran Peter walked into her life and checked into a hotel. The two quickly rubbed out a spark of love.
When the long-lost romance and passion are about to reignite the hope of Agnes's life, Peter begins to appear hallucinations under the control of the inner essence of claustrophobia, paranoia, and endless darkness. He saw countless human-eating bugs all over the corner of the hotel. He saw people around him being swallowed by bugs and surrounded by bugs. His inner fear dragged him into another dark world. He struggled painfully, but he couldn't get rid of it   .

Small cost, big suspense. Haughty fantasy, a hotbed of loneliness.

I would rather go crazy than be alone. Tyler’s wonderful soundtrack hardly appeared in the film, and the film redefined madness with quietness and calmness. "He trusts her and she trusts him" Lives forever in the fire

Bug quotes

  • Jerry Goss: You look good, baby. Mm. Mustache tickles a little bit.

    R.C.: That's okay.

    Jerry Goss: Not mine, yours.

  • Peter Evans: [referring to the smoke detector he's just knocked off Agnes' ceiling] You should get rid of that.

    Agnes White: How come?

Peter Evans: They're dangerous. They have Americium-241 in them.

    Agnes White: What's that?

Peter Evans: It's an element. A radioactive element.

    Agnes White: No shit?

Peter Evans: More radioactive than plutonium.

Agnes White: Jesus... No wonder I feel so lousy all the time.
