Cormoran Strike, the illegitimate son of a rock star and a veteran who lost a leg in Afghanistan, now runs a shabby detective agency. Robin Ellacott, a college psychology graduate, came to the firm by chance as a temporary employee and fell in love with the job. One-legged detectives and competent assistants cooperate tacitly and begin to solve suspicious cases.
The play is adapted from J. K. Rowling's detective novel series under the pseudonym "Robert Galbraith". Episodes 1-3 are " The Cuckoo's Calling ", and episodes 4 and 5 are "Silkworms".
