The foundation of the original work is really good. Although it takes 160 minutes, it can be firmly attracted by the plot and suspense until the final scene. It's the same as the remake of "Manslaughter", the first more than 40 minutes are a bit verbose, and then it looks good (the subsequent sequels are all painted by gourd, including sceneries and details). The way the plan is completed, the way of narration, the attitude of the family to the interrogation, the Hitchcock-style crime transfer method (to worry about the offender) and the clever interspersion of flashbacks in the play are all wonderful.
