"Grace of Monaco" tells the legendary inspirational story of Hollywood star Grace Kelly. She not only struggled from an actress to become an Oscar queen, but also became the princess of Monaco's Grand Duke Rainier III. After six years of marriage, the female Oscar star of the year was already the mother of two children, but Grace could not fully control her new role, Grace of Monaco, and even hit a wall everywhere in her life. When she was depressed, her Bole Hitchcock sent her an invitation for a new film. Monaco, a small land, also had a diplomatic crisis with France, facing the threat of taxation and even annexation. As a woman with a depressed life after marriage, Grace is faced with the choice between returning to her former stardom or constantly balancing in complex politics and becoming a thorough royal princess. The movie is also unfolding around her self-struggle and self-selection.

Nicole really has no dead ends. Then...there is no more. How can Weinstein not be enough for Hollywood with such a lackluster princess fairy tale. PS: But it's still much better than "Diana".

The impression that I went to the cinema to watch this film was pretty good. I really admire the heroine. As a well-known actor, she was already a halo in the United States. She gave up everything to marry to Monaco and became involved in the political turmoil. I don’t remember the ending, but I like women with high EQ~

Grace of Monaco quotes

  • Prince Rainier: You want us to pay tax to France?

Emile Pelletier: This is a French protectorate, which has only ever existed because of French good will.

Prince Rainier: This is a sovereign national.

Emile Pelletier: My peers in Paris are not as understanding as I am. I am to return tomorrow with your full acceptance. So please work with me, your Highness.

Prince Rainier: [approaching him] Does de Gaulle really want the children of Monaco to grow up to be croupiers?

Emile Pelletier: Some would say that would be an improvement. Some of Monaco's children are running around like their mother, the offspring of a Philadelphia bricklayer.

    Prince Rainier: [slaps him hard]

  • Grace: Do you believe in fairytales, Tuck?

Francis Tucker: No, I believe in "happily ever after."
