The title of the film is taken from the "Apocalypse Four The Horsemen" mentioned in the "Bible Revelation", which alludes to the four major scourges of mankind - war, plague, famine, and death. Detective Aidan Lancelinhas just experienced the loss of his wife, and in the process of investigating a serial murder case, he meets the mysterious Chinese woman Christine. Christine and the four The Horsemen each have a complicated and entangled "dangerous relationship", and even developed complex and subtle feelings with Aidan Lancelin during the murder investigation
