59-year-old Daniel Blackis a carpenter. For the first time in his life, he needs to apply for social assistance due to a heart problem. Although his doctor forbids him to continue working, he still decides to find a job at the risk of being fined. During his repeated trips to the "job center" tojob, he met Katie, a single mother who needs to take care of two children. In order to prevent her children from living in a children's orphanage, she had to live in a house 450 kilometers away from her birthplace.
