Tarantino hired the famous music producer RZA to compose the film. RZA used to play the soundtrack in the first "Kill Bill". In addition, Tarantino's friend Robert Rodriguez also created music for the Mexican scene in the film. The three production designers of the film are from China, the United States, and Japan, and the costume designer and prop designer are also from China and the United States.
Lawrence Bender, Quentin Tarantino and the main actors arrived in China in May 2002 for martial arts training and movement choreography. In mid-June, several other producers and the director of photography Robert Richardson gathered a team of multinational talents and multiple groups of translators into the Beijing Film Studio. On the set, a team of Chinese and American assistant directors supervised the daily filming. The first assistant director of the US was Bill Clark, the old partner who has followed Tarantino since Pulp Fiction, and the first assistant director of China was Zeng. Zhang Jinzhan, the executive director of "Farewell My Concubine" and "Wind Moon".
On the first day in China, the crew completed 22 sets of sets. This kind of work efficiency is unheard of in Hollywood. After finishing shooting at the Beijing Film Studio, the crew rushed to the historical site Zhongwei Gaomiao to start a week-long filming. In order to bring this magnificent spectacle to the screen, the crew has to climb the 240-meter-high Gaomiao Mountain every day, trying all the hardships.

Quentin is a genius! You~ deserve it! In fact, the ending in my mind is that after he fell, her daughter gave her a knife from behind, using the samurai sword that Uncle Hachitori cast for her.

Kill Bill: Vol. 2 quotes

  • Bill: You hocked a Hattori Hanzo Sword?

    Budd: Yep.

    Bill: It was priceless.

Budd: Well, not in El Paso, it ain't. In El Paso I got me $250 for it.

  • Budd: You're telling me she cut through eighty-eight bodyguards before she got to O-Ren?

Bill: Nah, there weren't really eighty-eight of them. They just called themselves "The Crazy 88."

    Budd: How come?

Bill: I don't know. I guess they thought it sounded cool.
