Kon-Tiki evaluation action

The style of "Kon-Tiki" is clean and tidy, and the film is beautiful. The film does not intensify the inner changes of the characters into dark contradictions, but restores a real voyage that took place nearly 60 years ago for the audience   .
The film is a story of drifting on the sea, the whole film is too plain, and the characterization of the protagonist is not thorough enough. The theme of "the courage to sacrifice everything for the pursuit of the truth" is superficial, not as exciting as the original   .
The film looks more like a nature documentary from BBC or Discovery. Although it is well-rounded and smooth, combined with the blue sky and white clouds, the inspirational spirit of persistence and ideals, it cannot make up for the monotony of the story, lack of dramatic conflict and sharp sharpness.   .

Because it is an adaptation of real events, it is more real and not as dramatic as people think.

Faith lives on! This film and "Youth PI" met unexpectedly in 2012. Although the adaptation of real events is more powerful, the level of excitement of the story, the magnificence of the picture, and the infectivity of the characters are inferior to "PI". Overall rating: three and a half stars.

Kon-Tiki quotes

  • Thor Heyerdahl: [Radiotyping to mainland] Early man did not see the oceans as a barrier but rather as a means of communication. This is science that can not be done behind a desk or by a committee. That a 1500 year old civilization. Possessed maritime and navigational skills to successfully maneuver a balsa wood raft over 5,000 miles. We are using the same stars as they did.

  • Torstein Raaby: [all six lying on the raft, looking the starry night sky] It's as if we're the only people left in the universe.

Bengt Danielsson: Maybe we are. Maybe they've dropped bombs on eachother. And every city is like Hiroshima.

Erik Hesselberg: [suspicious] I doubt we would have had radio contact Bengt.

Thor Heyerdahl: Maybe we've just been accepted. By nature. That we've become like a seagull or a fish.
