In the mid-1950s, it was the recovery period of the so-called "economic miracle" in Germany. The story took place in a small city. The night in the small town is very lively, and the upper-class people in the municipal administration often go to the feasting nightclubs for fun. From above, a new person in charge of the urban construction department, Bohm, is decent and dedicated to the public. Shuker is an upstart tycoon who made his fortune by building houses. He often dominates the work of municipal staff. He often appears in nightclubs. The most popular singer in the nightclub, Lola, is his mistress and gave birth to a daughter for him.
The appearance of Bohm poses a great threat to Shuker, but Shuker can't fight Bohm head-on, so he can only take another approach.
After Lola approached Bohm, he found that this man was different from other men who haunted the nightclub, and the two fell in love quickly. Lola worked in nightclubs for a long time, but in his heart he yearned for a normal family life and an upright man; while Bohm didn't know everything about Lola, but fell in love with this woman, and the two fell in love romantically and sadly.
Bohm finally knew who Lola was, but still couldn't stop loving her. In the end, all the upper-level people helped Bohm settle everything: Lola married Bohm, Shuker got a large house building business, and Lola got a nightclub. Bohm couldn't resist, so he could only stand in front of the wedding altar with mixed sorrow and joy.
