The director regards Shakespeare’s complex story as a pantomime with voiceovers, free to play in a Scottish cloud-covered environment. He often adapts dialogues to the inner activities of human beings instead of oral language. The speed of each dialogue is very high. Slow, coupled with a lot of profound pauses, makes people think that every sentence is important, and lacks focus and change.
Michael Fassbender's Scottish accent is not very stable, but seeing his interpretation of the role can be regarded as flawed. A high-spirited and arrogant soldier immediately exposed his deep self-doubt after he got the throne.
As the shortest, sharpest, and most violent story in Shakespeare’s tragedy, "Macbeth" is the easiest to make into a movie. "Macbeth" has never been treated by a big screen anymore, shocking the soul and impeccable performance, fast-paced and inspiring Exciting, it fits well with the Middle Ages. Although the scene is too bloody and not suitable for students to watch, the superb narrative ability of this Australian director can make this Shakespeare work enduring.

The photography is so awesome, the visual aesthetics has been swept away, and the stylized adaptation of a story that humans knows still has an advantage, and it can also make up for the narration's madness. Unfortunately, neither Fasha nor Ma Liang are particularly brilliant. Almost the whole process of whisper's slogan is too test the level of English listening and translation. # Cannes电影节# An American kid next to me kept asking what Nima was saying, laughing to death. Three and a half.

This version of Macbeth maximizes the advantages of the cinema. The scene layout is magnificent, coupled with the transition from cold to warm in the entire film, the overall visual effect is very shocking. The lines of the original script were also cut down and compressed to less than half to match the cinema effect. The only regret is that Lady Macbeth's tears before the stake are a bit OOC
