Royand Frankare a pair of fraudsters who work together. Roy, a superb and sophisticated deception, and Frank, a very ambitious man, use the sale of water filters as a means of deception. In order to obtain the fictitious gifts claimed by the scammers; including cars, jewelry, overseas travel, etc., the deceived buyer usually spends more than ten times the money to buy cheap water filters. These little scams allowed the two stickmen to make considerable fortunes and further turned into a profit-making partnership.
Roy believes that his work is an art, not a fraud. Because all the victims were persuaded by him to give him the money voluntarily, and he neither stole nor snatched it. He has always used such far-fetched reasons to cover up the guilt in his heart. On the other hand, Roy's private life is not going well. He suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder and agoraphobia. Apart from cheating, he lives a life of simplicity and no friends. Roy felt that the disease deeply threatened his professional field, so he began to seek the help of a psychoanalyst, hoping to recover his career as a liar as soon as possible.
