Mortal Engines evaluation action

The main story of the film is very smooth, but there are too many branches. The director used a lot of space at the beginning to present the lives of Tom and his companions from the bottom of London, but these clues basically did not play a role in the main story. I have to say that the special effects of the film are still very good. No matter what apocalyptic wasteland style or steampunk style, in short, the visual effects are very particular, the grand setting, the exquisite details, and the screen wonders of the future world are made. However, apart from the special effects, the flat characters and the story like a running account cannot leave a deep impression on people after all.
The picture of the film is very style, the sound effect is very full, the big scene picture is magnificent, the details are even more meticulous, and it credibly presents the appearance of a huge moving city shaking the mountains, forests and the sea. However, the lens movement in the film is gorgeous and varied, and the whole movie has high-decibel sound effects and soundtracks. This majestic momentum continues throughout the movie, and it feels that the senses are stimulated by too much and too long, a little dizzy. But perhaps this is the original intention of the filmmakers, the way to present the turbulence and instability of the times in the plot. In terms of the story, the film has many shadows from other movies, and the plot is not innovative enough to escape the story frame of the post-apocalyptic era, and the development of the characters ends there. Although the plot lacks originality, the visual effects and sound effects of the movie are very rich, and I believe it will still attract audiences who love Doomsday Survival movies.
"Mortal Engines" does have some living content, and the performance is enough to have a sense of game, but in such a hard-working steampunk atmosphere, the audience does not feel any special excitement.
