This film is another excellent biography of Oliver Stone. Unfortunately, he made the mistakes of his previous conspiracy theories. He likes to add his own subjective judgments to complex historical events and characters, and do dramatic processing. This film is out of the framework of history, but as a romance there is no lack of dramatic impact. In the first two hours, Nixon's life experience was relatively long-winded, and it seemed procrastination. The last hour is the "Watergate Incident" that entered the climax of dramatic tension. Anthony Hopkins interprets Nixon's pain and struggle as the focus of the dramatic conflict, showing that Nixon's worst enemy is himself. Joan Allen doesn't take much drama, but it exudes the poignant beauty of a tragic woman

For this Nixon always feels not a real Nixon, Nixon should always be more restrained, like the ruler of the same era, the confidence in strength Dare to be Nixon here is too weak
