Lomaro's FBI catcher and his younger brother Charlie, who has extraordinary mathematics talent, worked together to solve a serious and severe crime in Los Angeles. Charlie’s common way of thinking about the case surprised Tang’s colleagues Terry Lake and David Sinclair. At the same time, Tang and Charlie’s father worried about whether the two sons’ focused and persistent characteristics would cause each other to have friction in the task. Larry Flannhart is Charlie’s academy tutor, and he hopes Charlie will focus on academic research rather than wasteful spirits to assist the police in solving the case.

Numb3rs quotes

  • Charlie Eppes: Please, understand, sometimes I can't choose what I work on. I can't follow through on a line of thinking just because I want to, or, or because it's needed. I have to work on what's in my head. And right now, this is what's in my head.

  • Dr. Larry Fleinhardt: You know, here's a discussion: Why is it that we remember the past and not the future?

Charlie Eppes: That's a tough one, Larry.
