- The film was once listed as the "Top 15 Revenge Movies" on the Rotten Tomatoes website in the United States.
- The scene of Wu Daxiu eating five live octopuses raw at a sushi restaurant caused huge controversy. Although eating octopus raw in Korea is commonplace, it is usually eaten by cutting it into slices. After the film won the Cannes Grand Prix in Cannes, the director shared an octopus meal with all the cast and crew.
- In order to fit the role of Wu Daxiu more physically, Cui Minzhi trained for six weeks and lost 20 pounds. Most of the stunts were performed in person.
- It took three days to shoot the scene of the famous long-lens corridor. In order to make the result look more like a long shot, no CGI editing and processing were used. It is completely shot to the end with one lens. The only place in the scene where CGI technology was used was when Wu Daxiu was inserted through the back with a knife.

There are many tags that can be used for this video. In the revenge trilogy, it is the most direct and the least bloody one. Compared with gold and revenge, the brutal scenes are much less fancy, but the suspenseful color is the heaviest (although I guessed the mystery as soon as the heroine appeared, haha! ), which has the deepest emotional connotation and Park Chan-wook's screenwriting skills to the extreme. PS: When will the grievances be reported? Is Agassi really freed in the end?
