In order to make each movement of Paddington bear smooth and real, the team behind the scenes set up a set of precise muscle and skin devices under Paddington's hair to make a dynamic response to each movement of the bear. In order to allow Paddington's character to communicate emotionally and physically with other actors in the real world, it can also support the authenticity of the story. Framestore’s animation team meticulously designed all of Paddington’s performances. The animation team also worked with director Paul King to research and develop Paddington's rhythm, gestures and expressions, striving to make the audience feel Paddington's emotions with every expression change
