Peter Rabbit background creation

The film uses real-life + CGI technology, combining real-life and animation. Although the background of the story is set in the UK, most of the film was shot and produced in Sydney, Australia. The crew of Will Gluck built a replica of the McGregor mansion and surrounding countryside, which should be located in the Lake District of northern England.
Producer Jodi Hildebrand believes that shooting in Australia is based on many considerations: on the one hand, it is the summer in Australia, which needs to be shot in the summer, and the film will be released in the spring of next year (2018). The film needs to be shot in a place with green space, and this film was first proposed by a company called "Animal Logic", which founded the project and produced all the animations. On the other hand, because the crew gathers an Australian team, the crew can get a large tax rebate.
The film also shot some scenes in the UK, including the location and scenes of the Lake District. Peter Rabbit and his friends caused a riot in this department store. However, the crew of "Peter Rabbit" could only be filmed at night, after the Harrods store closed.
Art designer Ian Gracie believes that Harrods Store allows the crew to shoot in the store because of the content of the story: Harrods Store is one of the necessary parts of the story. The character played by Domnar works in Harold, and the production portrays its image from the correct perspective, which is not harmful to it. Ian Gracie thinks this is a win-win decision. It is a good advertisement for Harrods and it is also good for the movie itself.
