Project Almanac movie plot

2021-12-18 08:01
The story tells the story of a clever teenager David who found the relics of his dead father in the attic of his home one day: an old camera and a set of blueprints. After careful study, David realized that the finished product of this blueprint was a time machine! In order to complete his father’s unfinished business and solve the mystery of why he appeared at his seventh birthday party, David recruited his sister Christina, his two friends Quinn and Adam, and his goddess Jessie. According to David’s father’s blueprint, the five people really worked together to create a time machine that can freely travel through time and space.
With curiosity and a mentality of changing the status quo, the 5 people began to go back to the past time and time again. Every small change gradually changed their current world and life; including passing the chemistry exam, winning the lottery, falling in love with the goddess in their hearts, buying a Maserati sports car, and participating in the radio commander. The music festival of the show, the bullying classmates, the changes in the past, such as leisure entertainment and whimsical ideas that ordinary teenagers would want to play, they all realized one by one.
But as the number of uses increases, the degree of danger also rises. The five teenagers immediately discovered that arbitrarily crossing time and space would detonate the serious consequences of an unprecedented disaster on the earth and their own irreversible tragedy. Can they remedy everything in time to save themselves and the future of all mankind?

The old-fashioned plot and the way of pseudo-documentary make this film have constantly shaking scenes, which can't arouse my discussion of time travel and physical knowledge, and I just want to vomit

I still don’t like the form of pseudo-documentary. Compared with the same theme, I prefer the butterfly effect.

    Christina Raskin: In English, please.

David Raskin: Uh, it means we're gonna send your crappy toy a minute back into the past.
