Depression can't sleep? Smart writing? Sexual experience love? Controlling motherhood? Treatment resistance? Accept the tangle? Childhood... Growth education is really important... Ps Chinese subtitles don't match up with English lines at all...

The heroine's lines are awesome, but other than that, the movie feels like a commercial for Prozac and Harvard.

Prozac Nation quotes

  • Ruby: When we're together, you're fine. You're fun, you...

    Elizabeth: I'm faking it.

    Ruby: Well, everybody does that.

    Elizabeth: Not like me.

  • Ruby: Look, we all have bad days.

Elizabeth: [narrating] This is what people say in situations when they don't know what else to say. Fuck, I don't know what to suggest either.

Ruby: I care about you, Lizzie.

Elizabeth: [narrating] What I want is for someone to understand. But they don't really. And that makes the platitudes harder to bear.
