Sometimes stopping is the most important part of the journey.
Since Dustin Hoffman's change of style won an Oscar for Rain Man (1988), autism has been rampant in film genres. Thankfully, director Mark Evans showed a lighthearted tone in "Snowcake," while Sigourney Weaver, who played Linda, was emotional, full of childlike innocence and passion.

The real attraction here is that the two veteran actors play the leading role, Alan Rickman and Sigourney Weaver, so that everyone can recall their wonderful performance; and director Mark Evans fully understands these two. An intimate character, and Canada's picturesque frozen beauty, proving his versatility: it's a world away from My Little Eye .
