160914 @ AMC7 To be fair, this film list is a very qualified biographical film in terms of production. I feel that most of the critics are cut from the political level behind it. This is actually a point that this film is useless to step on. This film is more like a citizen4 prequel, using Ed in the government appointment, and personal emotional life as the origin of the Snowden incident. Interpretation.

As the movie itself is not brilliant, the biopic is well-regulated, the whole narrative structure is very loose, from joining the army to the CIA to the NSA to the final exposure, I want to summarize my life experience in every aspect, but it seems that there is no focus. Snowden, I feel that he himself is more brilliant than embarrassing. One extra star for the final appearance of the movie. If you want to know more about Snowden's values on this matter, you still have to go to Citizenfour!

Catfish: In Vegas, looking at Afghanistan. We all knew that it was a kid. Poof. He's gone. But same village, two, three days later. We see the funeral party. We knew it was a kid that they were burying. Moms and dads wailing. And then the order comes down. Hit 'em. Poof. And they are gone in a cloud of dust.

Edward Snowden: You ever hear about the Nuremberg trials, Trev? They weren't that long ago. Yeah, well, the big shots were the first trial, but then the next trial were just the judges, and lawyers, and policemen, and guards, and ordinary people just doing their jobs, following orders. That's where we got the Nuremberg principles, which then the UN made into international law, just in case ordinary jobs become criminal again.
