The Answer Man evaluation action

"The Answer Man" is a terrible movie for smart audiences. The plot starts out receptive and hopeful along the way, and then things start to go wrong, there are moments that go wrong, the plot gets too simplistic, the characters are messed up in moments, and the conclusion doesn't have a sense of reach or meaning. But none of this is the fault of Jeff Daniels, who plays Aaron as a funny guy that highlights certain aspects of Aaron's character that the script alludes to but largely ignores, a deeply troubled, hugely immature individual. The mature interaction between Jeff Daniels and Lauren Helen Graham is delightful. Awakened by his romantic interest in her, Alan takes a few steps toward adulthood, but like a spoiled child, he has plenty to do
