The Day the Earth Stood Still movie plot

With the continuous development of science and technology, the earth on which mankind depends has been increasingly polluted and threatened. One day, a huge flying saucer appeared above the earth, causing panic among the people of all countries. No one knows how this uninvited guest will affect their destiny. The flying saucer finally landed in the center of Washington Park in the United States, and the local police and military were dispatched. The flying saucer was surrounded by heavily armed soldiers and curious people. After two hours of confrontation, the suspended ladder slowly emerged from the flying saucer. With the opening of the hatch, an alien with the same shape as a human, Kratouand a metal robot appeared in front of everyone. The two aliens seem to have come for the fate of the earth. They expressed friendship, but they did not get the rewards they deserved   .
