The Game movie plot

Nicholas Wan Otto inherited his father's business and became the president of a conglomerate. On his 48th birthday, he suddenly received a "Consumer Entertainment Service Center" (CRS) membership card from his long-lost brother Conrad as a birthday gift.
The head of CRS, Jim Fangod, warmly received Nicholas and told him that he would become a participant in a "game". A series of strange things happened one after another around Nicholas: the well-dressed man was inexplicably stained with ink on his shirt; he clashed with his subordinates but was unable to exercise his power; ate at a high-end restaurant, and the waitress spilled the wine on him twice .
In the subsequent "games", Nicholas not only turned against his younger brother, but was also threatened with property and life many times. He is determined to find out the truth about CRS and take back his property.

The first hour and fifty minutes of the story belong to the typical wrong person model. There are a lot of foreshadowing in the front, but the final ending is too far-fetched, resulting in a lot of foreshadowing in the front. The opening scene is very wonderful and beautiful, with suspense in the middle. There are shadows of Hitchcock and Polanski, but the ending is really too much of a failure.

Also known as "Life Calendar Insurance", an unexpected birthday gift from his brother Sean Penn to his brother Michael Douglas. Except for the brother, everyone participated in this gift from the brother. It was not until the end of the film that the brother jumped and the answer was finally revealed. I like this movie.

The Game quotes

  • Nicholas: No, what is this? What are you... selling?

Jim Feingold: Oh. It's a game.

  • New Member Ted: This was the best one *ever*!

Jim Feingold: [shakes Nicholas's hand] You know, thank God you jumped, because if you didn't, I was supposed to throw you off!
