Although the film uses 3D technology, in terms of CG creativity and production, it is not much improved compared to the "Lord of the Rings" series. From the overall effect, it can't even compare to "Avatar". The three "Lord of the Rings" all have unique and ingenious computer special effects, such as the flood of thousands of horses in "The Lord of the Rings", the tree man in "The Two Towers", and the ghost army in "The Return of the King" and many more. The special effects production of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" basically repeats some of the original ideas of the previous trilogy. The newly added creativity, such as the underground lymphatic inflammation half-orcs and the nonsensical fighting stone men, are difficult to make the audience's eyes shine, and the presentation effect is not satisfactory. Only the rabbit driven by the brown-robed wizard pulls the sledge, which is full of childishness, which is a good attraction.
