The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Shooting process

The director of the film, Peter Jackson, divided the entire drama into two groups for shooting. The first shooting team led by director Peter Jack and the second shooting team led by Andy Serkis. In "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," Andy Serkins, in addition to continuing to star in "Gollum", also served as the director of the second filming team of the film.
The entire "The Hobbit" series of films were shot at the same time in a back-to-back manner. Director Peter Jackson divided the entire shooting schedule into three stages, so that the entire crew can have a short break during each period and give him some time to improve. The visual effects and adjustment of the script, and the entire shooting lasted 254 days. The film was officially launched in New Zealand on March 21, 2011 for the first stage of filming. The crew returned on September 5, 2011 to continue the second stage of filming.
