The scene at the end is so shocking that it keeps adding points. With an exaggerated, bloody, almost perverted appearance, it alludes to a sad heart and the trauma of a whole Franco era. Alex de la Iglesia has always been a geeky director, so it's no wonder Quentin loved this film.
