The Personal History of David Copperfield evaluation action

The reorganization of some themes in the narrative tendencies of the screenwriter Armando Iannucci failed to support the work "The Personal History of David Copperfield". The entertainment of the film is only superficial. In many cases, it will make the audience lose their balance and unsure how the story will develop-whether you have read the novels of Charles John Huffam Dickens or not, you will feel this way. The film once again showcases Armando Iannucci's dry sense of humor, unethical provocations, and love for word games. For audiences outside the United States, these things will largely be lost in the translation process. Laurie's trance-looking character is very fascinating and will be very interesting to any audience. Westshaw played Ship with a slick and convincing role, as if he was Christine Graff, who created the same level of tension and sadness. At the same time, Patel fully released his capable charm when he played Copperfield-obviously, he really enjoyed the challenge of playing such a protagonist.

It was boring at first, but it was funny and interesting to see the back, and I liked it after reading it. Dev Patel is always in this kind of personal growth, "Slumdog Millionaire" and "Lion" are both. I haven't read Dickens, but I have heard the impression of misery and suffering. What I read from the film is about the bleak but joyful attitude of the background of the times, about vanity and about a little brilliance in human nature. The lineup is very strong, of course, my favorite is Uncle Pika!

It is not easy to grow up in a glass bottle factory and still be optimistic. A question, is steerforth's mother really black, doesn't it mean that black children are all black?

The Personal History of David Copperfield quotes

  • Betsey Trotwood: My late brother all over. Calls a house a rookery, takes the rooks on trust. A better name would have been Gullible Manor.

  • Mr Dick: Somebody! Somebody, please! King Charles I. Are we certain that he's dead?

Betsey Trotwood: When last seen in public, his head was *not* attached to his body.

Mr Dick: Good. Thank you. Much obliged.
