The Personal History of David Copperfield evaluation action

The reorganization of some themes in the narrative tendencies of the screenwriter Armando Iannucci failed to support the work "The Personal History of David Copperfield". The entertainment of the film is only superficial. In many cases, it will make the audience lose their balance and unsure how the story will develop-whether you have read the novels of Charles John Huffam Dickens or not, you will feel this way. The film once again showcases Armando Iannucci's dry sense of humor, unethical provocations, and love for word games. For audiences outside the United States, these things will largely be lost in the translation process. Laurie's trance-looking character is very fascinating and will be very interesting to any audience. Westshaw played Ship with a slick and convincing role, as if he was Christine Graff, who created the same level of tension and sadness. At the same time, Patel fully released his capable charm when he played Copperfield-obviously, he really enjoyed the challenge of playing such a protagonist.

It is another boring running account assembled by the wonderful performance of a gorgeous cast. (Xiaoben and tilda slap each other is really fun)

3.5⭐ It is quite novel that many ethnic minorities are used to choose a film adapted from a representative British novel. The fusion of skin tones makes the color of the film particularly bright. The ending of some characters has been changed, and the witty stage play is like a revolving lantern. I quite like it and am very happy (but I guess the original book is not the connotation). This movie made me discover: everyone has come to the UK, and haven't seen a Dickens? ? ? A little ashamed (after all, there are so many writers in the UK). The male protagonist is "Slumdog Millionaire", too handsome! This is the first time I think Indians are so handsome!

The Personal History of David Copperfield quotes

  • Mr Dick: My mind is as clear as a soap bubble!

  • [Last Lines, to his younger self]

David Copperfield: Don't worry. You'll make it through. And you'll have quite the ride on the way.
