A pair of parents in New York, the United States, prevented their seven children from going out for 14 years and kept them trapped at home. These seven children can only learn about the outside world through watching movies, and have watched about 5,000 movies. In 2010, the director Mosseler accidentally ran into a boy who had escaped and dressed as a "Falling Dog" in the street and filmed the documentary "The Wolfpack", which won the 2015 sundance film festival jury documentary award.
Having been isolated in an apartment in the Lower East Side of Manhattan for a long time, the Angulo brothers only learned about the outside world by watching movies. They nicknamed themselves "The Wolfpack," and the four brothers would play their favorite movies to kill time. The props and costumes are all handmade by themselves. Their world was broken because of the escape of one of the brothers, everything changed.
