The actor Harvey Fierstein, who plays the leading actor, Arnold, uses his superb acting skills to blend sadness and meanness into a role, which makes people unable to be unsympathetic   .

    a true masterpiece. There is sadness in humor, we all live with pain, we must move on, but don't forget. Those scenes with my mom were so good, and at the end Arnold was sitting alone on the couch with a hat, glasses, a bag of oranges, and a picture in his arms, and that was his whole world.
