The animal coordinator of the film, Boone Nal, used more than 20 years of training experience to train the dog in the film and participated in the training of the lovely little monkey in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series.
Due to the needs of filming, the Mi Gru was arranged to live with another beagle, and the beagle owner was responsible for taking care of it. In the film, the beagle is the favorite of the MiGru dog, and the two puppies outside the film are even better friends.
