George Clooney plays a company layoff specialist named Ryan Bingham. His job is to fly around to solve problems for companies everywhere. His goal in life is to accumulate 1,000 miles by flying. Million, and thus promoted to a platinum member.
But Ryan’s “on the road” lifestyle is threatened by newcomers. A freshman named Natalie (Anna Kendrick) invented an Internet teleconferencing system that made layoffs.
