Based on Kim Barker's memoir "The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan", the film tells the story of an English-speaking reporter who was sent to Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, to record the lives of local civilians during the war, full of absurd stories. The role played by Elizabeth Stamatina Fey met the reporter played by Margot Robbie, and the two became friends; Martin Freeman played a battlefield photographer from Scotland, possibly with Elizabeth Stamatina Fey. The characters have a relationship; Billy Bob and Thornton play a military-minded general. It is worth mentioning that this is another collaboration between Martin Freeman and Billy Bob Thornton after "Fargo" . The film is directed by Glenn Ficarra, director of "Focus" and "Crazy, Stupid, Love" , and John Liqua.
