Based on the novel by Henry James, it tells the story of magician Celine and librarian Julie who are good friends and share everything, including clothes and boyfriends, since they met in Montmartre, Paris. When they share a magic candy, they arrive in a surreal world, a haunted house. There, they both fell in love with the father of the girl Celine was a governess, but the man had promised before his wife's death that he would not marry again as long as the seriously ill daughter was alive. Two women are determined to save the girl from the brink of death.
