In the 19th century, on the edge of a gloomy moor in Yorkshire, England, a gypsy boy named Heathcliff was brought to Wuthering Heights by Mr. Dean. He is loved by the master's daughter, Kathy, but while Kathy loves him, she can't refuse her desire to live a prosperous life, and it is Kathy's neighbor Edgar Linton who can provide this kind of living conditions. Heathcliff learned of this by accident and left quietly. Kathy married Linton in a sad mood.
A few years later, Heathcliff returned with a graceful presence. Linton's sister, Ibera, fell in love with Heathcliff. Not only did Heathcliff buy Wuthering Heights, but he also married Isabella. After marriage, Heathcliff's indifference quickly withered Isabella, and Kathy was on the verge of death due to excessive grief. Heathcliff came to Kathy as she was dying, and held her to the window to look out at the rock that had been their "castle" in childhood. Kathy said she waited for their reunion and then died. A distraught Heathcliff spends 20 years mourning Casey, expecting his death. He was extremely contemptuous and tortured to all around him, until Kathy's ghost summoned him to their favorite wasteland on a snowy winter night   .

It's simply unbearable... If you change the title of the film and the name of the person, it will definitely not be as unwelcoming as it is now. The story of cutting off the next generation for the length of time is acceptable, but Cathy being changed like this is simply unbearable! It's just your broken feelings that pop up classic dialogues from time to time, are you embarrassed? ! The delicate and pretentious opening and end of the film, trying to incite a poignant and touching love story, the way it is handled is really unappetizing... The Edgart role is very good.

Love is colder than death, especially for Heathcliff, who is alive or surviving. The lines are very literary, especially that rainy night, Kathy said, I'm Heathcliff.

Wuthering Heights quotes

  • Dr. Kenneth: Hindley, why don't you hit yourself over the head with a hammer when you wake up every morning?

    Hindley: Why?

Dr. Kenneth: Well, if you do, you'll achieve virtually the same results as you do with a bottle of whiskey, with much less wear and tear on the kidneys.

  • Cathy: No matter what I ever do or say, Heathcliff, this is me - now - standing on this hill with you. This is me, forever.
