  • Eleanor Parker (Eleanor Parker, June 26, 1922-December 9, 2013), was born in State of Ohio .
    After working in the theater in his early years, he was invited by Warner Bros. to enter the film industry. In the 1950s, he moved to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. and reached a peak in his acting career. Because of his beautiful appearance and talent, he can adapt to various roles, but he is considered to have performed too much. Masterpieces: Hollywood Hotel, Detective Story , Interrupted Melody, An American Dream, etc.
    On December 9, 2013, he died of illness at the age of 91 in a nursing home in Palm Spring, California, USA . [1] 

    Early Experience

    Eleanor Parker liked acting very much when he was young, and actively participated in various theater performances in middle school. At the age of 18, Eleanor Parker was selected and signed by Warner Bros. and officially became a film actor.

    Despite his natural beauty, Eleanor Parker's star journey is not as smooth as Julie Andrews Edwards and other protagonists of " The Sound of Music ". Eleanor Parker was signed under Warner Bros. when he first debuted .
    In 1943, Eleanor Parker participated in the performance of "Mission to Moscow" as the daughter of a diplomat. During the filming, she met her first husband, but the marriage only lasted more than a year. A year and a half later, Eleanor Parker and her second husband formed a new family, and the marriage ended after seven years. 
    For several years in a row, he only played a small supporting role. It was not until 1946 that he was able to take the lead in a " The Shackles of Human Nature ". However, the film suffered Waterloo at the box office, and Eleanor Parker was even frustrated. It was not until the great success of " Caged " starring her in 1950 that Eleanor believed that he had a talent for acting. Since then, she has starred in successful films such as "Coward", "Valley of the Kings", " Caged ", " Detective Story " and " Interrupted Melody ".
    In 1965, after starring in the " The Sound of Music " in the cold baroness and becoming famous, Eleanor retired quickly, rarely appeared on the big screen, only active on the TV screen. After the 1960s, she shifted her focus to TV series filming and was nominated for Best Actress in the TV Series at the Golden Globe Awards and Best Actress in the Emmy Awards.   In 1991, he officially retired from Hollywood.

    Eleanor Parker's love life is the same as her star journey, with twists and turns. She has had four marriages.
    On March 21, 1943, her first marriage was to Fred Losee, a dentist in the United States Navy. Divorced on December 5, 1944.
    On January 5, 1946, the second marriage was to Hollywood producer Bert E. Friedlob (Bert E. Friedlob). Divorced on November 10, 1953, and had three children.
    On November 25, 1954, the third marriage was with the painter Paul Clemens. Divorced on March 9, 1965, with one child.
    On April 17, 1966, he married Raymond Hirsch, manager of the Schubert Theatre. This marriage lasted until Raymond's death in 2001.
