The lengthy first part - Xuyuan Xuan is really not as good as Anno

When I first saw Xu Yuanxuan, I had a bad premonition.

The greatest skill of Xu Yuanxuan lies in the long narrative and unfolds slowly in the process.

But in an animated film, the first 20 minutes is basically meaningless nonsense.

Qing is a male protagonist who witnessed the tragic death of his parents and the destruction of the world by Godzilla. The opening cutscene shows that there are not only...

      Great foreshadowing, little substance

Godzilla, the evergreen tree on the screen, drove humans without Bumpman protection directly out of the solar system and occupied this blue planet for 20,000 years. And the human remnants who formed the government-in-exile actually turned the boat and flew back from 11.9 light-years away when there was no way to find refuge, copying the old light weapons and shouting for this big monster with its own EMP generator Take your life to pay the rent. So after the gimmicky warp crossing, the...

      Godzilla evolution, human thinking

Godzilla, a name closely linked to reality. It has always reminded the limitations of human beings. Even with advanced stealth fighter jets, ships with perfect maneuverability, and large-tonnage nuclear-powered aircraft carriers, the strongest means of attack for human beings are only nuclear bombs. And Godzilla, who can't even deal with a nuclear bomb, naturally breeds a feeling of despair. Fortunately, despair has always been aimed at individuals rather than humans. For humans,...

      Subsequent plot guesses

The tech tree is so crooked. All human beings have been fighting for half a century and have not found a way to defeat Godzilla. It is said that carbon-based creatures are reliable in this part of the earth, and no matter how powerful the evolution of plants is, they can't keep up with steel, and I can't see the reason for such evolution. There are a few scenes that seem to have primitive human-like creatures. Qingsheng was mostly rescued by them in the next episode, and then they dug out...

Trying to keep myself from falling asleep, but I slept twice...

The overall style of the film is like the style of mobile Ultraman, there is a kind of expectation that the protagonist will become Ultraman to fight monsters...

The SF animation in the skin of Godzilla is like the story of the knights of Sidonia returning to earth to fight. What makes Godzilla terrifying is that his gigantic body traverses the modern city to wreak havoc, while human weapons are helpless. In this work, the so-called despair of human beings facing Godzilla is not so strong on the desolate and primitive earth 20,000 years later. CG's performance is very bold, but in terms of psychological stimulation, special photography is even...

The more interesting point is that Godzilla's abilities and weaknesses are objectively examined in a research way. However, such a radical character of the male protagonist is really annoying. Privately, I feel that humans first establish a base on the moon, steal resources from the earth to consolidate development, and then challenge the monsters. Why not? Looking at the routine of the indigenous girl taking in the comatose male protagonist at the end of the film, is the next film going to go...

    Movie plot

The last summer of the twentieth century. On that day, human beings knew for the first time that they were not the only rulers of the earth.
A huge creature "monster" and a powerful being that can expel the monster - "Godzilla" appeared on the earth. The battle with monsters lasted for half a century, and human beings kept failing and fleeing, and finally had to implement a plan to escape from the earth. In 2048, the human beings...

    Movie quotes

    • Martin Lazzari: Would living organisms go through such a change, even if 10,000 years have passed? We collected and analyzed the forest's plants, and by using carbon dating, I know how much time has passed. And it looks to be within a 50-year range of 19,200 years.

Haruo Sakaki: So our time away keeps increasing.

    • Metphies: Are you having foreboding thoughts?

Haruo Sakaki: If this ends without us encountering Godzilla, then why did I come here?

Metphies: Were you hoping to depend on luck? It's fine if we're actively searching, but if we pass by in a rush, then we won't find anything. That's if we were actively searching for Godzilla, right? You and Colonel Leland still don't understand one crucial aspect of that thing. It will never let humanity escape. Even more so if we've come to provoke it with a trace of fear.

Haruo Sakaki: So, it will be searching for us? Is that some divine message from god?

Metphies: It's a legend. We Exif have been wandering through space as vagrants far longer than Earthlings have, and we've witnessed many civilizations destroyed. Many have been regretfully destroyed by creatures similar to Godzilla.

      Haruo Sakaki: What's that?

Metphies: He is the punishing iron hammer for the arrogant. For the species who pronounce themselves as lords of creation, a divine avenger will pay them a visit. And so, he will...

    • Eliott Leland: This planet can go to hell.
