      dark road of escape

After watching it, only the sad violin music revolves in my mind, and the depressing and heavy atmosphere runs through the whole movie. I like light-hearted and beautiful movies, and I was going to spend the afternoon as a distraction, but this dark movie made me even more indigestible throughout the afternoon. Halfway through the movie, the tone of the movie was still dull, so I hoped for a happy ending. Fortunately, in the end, the siblings successfully arrived at the grandmother's house with...

      "Girl Lohe"

Two of Cate Shortland's films basically made me a fan of them. The film minimizes the possible conflicts of personality and human nature under the special background, and the contradictions are even stronger.

If the previous work "Falling Swallow" still tends to express the pure emotion of women's sensitive touch, "Girl Luohe" puts this touch in a broader and far-reaching context, and the way of expressing touch is not general. The plot and performance are more about the picture and...

"Girl Loho": The Maturity Ceremony of Suffering

(Written by Zhi Ning on June 7, 2013)
When more and more film works reflecting on warfare, people began to abdicate those who use the so-called memorial way to express false empathy. A film directed by Australian director Kate Sauterland "Lore" sets the background of the story in Germany at the end of World War II, but the overall style is fresh. With the delicate technique of combing emotions unique to female directors, Sauterland combined emotional close-ups and situational...

It's hard to understand in a peaceful age.

The whole process became more and more tangled and worried.
As the big sister, LORE is the most difficult.
When she has no parents, she will be a parent. For the sake of younger siblings, even though I am a child, I have no choice. This reminds me of my own mother. Not everyone is willing to bear the responsibilities and burdens of the eldest sister, nor is it something everyone can do well.

When her mother finally left, LORE still chased her on the road to see her. Mother...

Film Critic-Lore-"The Heart-to-Heart Work of the Way"

It seems that since the beginning of "The Tree of Life", Malik's image style has begun to invade all kinds of movies on a large scale. However, compared with other works of Handan toddlers and abuses, this film uses this image style just right. Different from the general subject of reflection on World War II, this film uses an outstanding young girl student in the Nazi youth camp as the starting point, trying to strengthen the reflection from the awakening from the inside out, and this internal...

The color tone of the film is blue like the German cornflowers. The girl's eyes are especially blue. The female director's work is slow and delicate. A lot of close-ups and some moving shots that seem to be smears are particularly appealing to people's hearts. What I present to you is the German perspective after World War II, which is fresh and special. The subtlety is too heavy, the main line is not prominent enough, and the fly in the ointment is a fly in the...

The color, picture, and composition are all good-looking enough, small and fresh, and can almost become a lomo template. But the story is too weak to give good...

    Background creation

The film is co-produced by Australia and Germany. It is the first work of Australian female director Kate Sauterland after 7 years of " Somersault " and her second film directed. The film is adapted from the famous work "The Darkroom" by the Australian female author Rachel Seiffert. The book was nominated for The Man Booker Prize . It is a piece of Nazi scar literature written from the perspective of self-reflection on the...
