The sound of music, the power of music

I have heard the name for a long time, but I have never seen it. Hearing the song is familiar.

The story takes place in Austria before World War II, a sunny and picturesque place. It starts with the heroine's voice. Peaceful and powerful and full of hope.

Next, we changed the venue and went to the naval officer's house. Seven kids really shocked me...

Then the host goes out on a date, and the hostess of the governess takes the children to play and sing. It was from here that I felt the power of music. Like gurgling water, it can nourish the long-dry soul and build a bridge of communication.

The Edelweiss song that the hostess sang when he came home, when I was a child, I only thought the melody was good and it was easy to hum. When I listen to it now, I notice that it contains deep blessings for the motherland and hope for peace. It's a feeling I didn't feel and didn't feel when I was a kid.

Good music, good movies. Regardless of time or borders, it can convey beauty and power that moves people's hearts.

I came to watch this movie after I liked one of the songs in it. The songs and dances in it are good, and the stories are quite positive. If teachers use love to educate and cultivate children, then the children will be very happy.

It's not that the musical is unacceptable, but the plot is exaggerated, the characters are rigid, the emotions of the male protagonist have changed suddenly, and the love of the female protagonist is unreasonable. The escapes in the last third are a little more colorful. I have never relaxed the bottom line unprincipled because of old movies. Old films can only have a wider standard, or they can't have no standard. After returning from Salzburg, it was still a little warm. I wanted to take a look but didn't have time.

The Sound of Music quotes

  • Maria: Reverend Mother, I'm sorry. I couldn't help myself. -The hills were beckoning and... the sky was so blue today... and everything was so green and fragrant, I had to be a part of it. The Untersberg led me higher like it wanted me to go through the clouds.

Mother Abbess: Suppose darkness had come and you were lost?

Maria: Mother, I could never be lost up there. That's my mountain. I was brought up on it. It was the mountain that led me to you. When I was a child, I would come down and climb a tree... and look in your garden. I'd see the sisters at work and hear them sing... Which brings me to another transgression, Reverend Mother. I was singing out there today.

Mother Abbess: Only in the abbey do we have rules about postulants singing.

Maria: I can't stop wherever I am. Worse, I can't seem to stop saying things. Everything I think and feel.

  • The Baroness: [to Captain Von Trapp] Fond as I am of you... I really don't think you're the right man for me. You're, um... You're much too independent. And I - I need someone who needs me desperately... or at least needs my money desperately.
