I think "Elite Force 2" is good-looking due to two factors. First of all, at the content level, this is a film with police corruption as its content. This kind of black-and-black story is actually very common in American and Hong Kong movies. However, "Elite Force 2" is a reflection on the system itself, and the color of political speculation is very strong, much like the Italian film "Confessions of a Police Chief" that was released in China in the 1980s. Secondly, on the technical level, the hurricane narrative rhythm and the realistic style of hand-held photography set this film apart from the "SWAT"-style conventional police films. The audience is not only viewing the film as a confrontation between police and drug dealers. In the eyes of Brazilians, this is the violence and crime that happened around them. The content and technique of the film gave the audience a sense of substitution. The film director Jose Padilla is actually a documentary director. The two "Elite Forces" are his only two feature-length films. In fact, his critical and realistic style is more fully reflected in "Elite Forces", but " "Elite Force 2" takes more care of the audience's heavy tastes. Anyway, the director has been recruited by Hollywood to shoot "Robocop".
In fact, whether it is "Central Station", "City of God" or "Elite Forces", these realistic Brazilian films have a common feature, that is, they have a straight view of life and their inability to avoid injustice. They are all trying to show the audience. Restoring a real Brazil, this is a completely different world from the passionate Brazil we saw in "Rio Adventure" and "Fast and Furious". It is a pity that such a bold gesture and sense of responsibility that touch reality is almost in Chinese movies. Extinct, so "Elite Troops" can have an American version, a Korean version, a French version, a Japanese version, and even a Hong Kong version, but it can't have a Chinese version, but it can have a Chinese version.
But what I want to say most is that I am already very pleased to be able to see such a movie on the big screen in the Mainland-thanks to the government! ! !
