A beautifully written account composition

I heard from my colleagues very early that Ghibli animations would be released this year.
When I was watching other movies last month, I happened to see a trailer that was blowing in the wind.
It was the first time to watch Ghibli's cartoon on the big screen, with a somewhat bleak theme song. It feels very shocking. I always thought that only action movies and science fiction movies are suitable for watching in cinemas.
Unexpectedly, under the background of Ghibli's beautiful painting style and music, there is actually a feeling of being personally on the scene.

If you have the opportunity to watch Ghibli in the cinema, don't miss this opportunity. It's totally different from watching Ghibli at home.

----------------Get to the point (with spoilers)--------------------------- --------
After watching it, I was honestly disappointed. It didn't match the expectations, or it was a grade worse than the trailer.

First talk about the hero Jiro
"windy" turned out to be a fiction, Shankoubaihui and Tomokazu Miura had acted in the movie version
is mainly the story told between the author Tatsuo Hori its early death of his wife.
The owner of the novel is the author himself, a literary youth from a gentry family. He met Akutagawa Ryunosuke in high school.
My mother was killed during the Great Kanto Earthquake, so the tragic situation of the earthquake will be mentioned in the novel.
Graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of Tokyo Imperial University, and met and fell in love with his wife at Jin Karuizawa, and unfortunately his wife died of tuberculosis the following year.
I wrote the novel "The Wind Is Rising" for my wife's thoughts.
The zero-fighter designer Horikoshi Jiro, from a mediocre background, is just a schoolmaster, and has been the number one from middle school to university.
Graduated from the Department of Engineering at Tokyo Imperial University, and finally got a Ph.D. in Engineering, and Googled his photos to resemble the main character of the film.
Miyazaki combines the stories of these two contemporaries with the movie's protagonist Jiro.
Although the two are from the same era, they are actually completely different in terms of background and personality. One is the rich son Feng Hua Xueyue.
One is a science male tech madman. There will inevitably be a lot of violations when combined together.

It was said that Hayao Miyazaki had grown up in the promotional video on TV.
In the past, the protagonist was a brave boy full of dreams, but this time he is an adult with a teenage dream.

And I think this is precisely where the film is lacking. Obviously he is an adult, but he feels like a small child.
Teenagers can pursue their dreams desperately, but adults cannot.
Teenagers can fall in love at first sight, desperate to be with the people they like. But adults cannot.
Because adults must have responsibilities and responsibilities, and they must be considerate in doing things.
But I don't see the elements of adulthood in the male protagonist. He is just a grown-up boy.
Even the people who talked to him in his dreams still called him "Japanese boy".

The male protagonist likes airplanes, so he can often ignore the agreement with his sister. The
male protagonist who wants to learn to build airplanes can not go back to his hometown to visit his parents for many years.
The male protagonist wants to be with his wife, so he asked his wife to give up treatment and accompany him instead of taking time off to accompany his wife. The
male protagonist wants to smoke, and he can ignore his wife who has tuberculosis by his side! ! !
If the hero wants to build an airplane, he can ignore how many people die because of it! ! !
So this time the protagonist may be the most popular male protagonist of Ghibli.

In addition, the protagonist's voice actor is completely amateur, and the dubbing is as straight as a robot, without a trace of emotion.
Whether it is a big earthquake or being looked down upon by people when going abroad, confession, courtship, success, failure, all have no feelings.
I don't know if the story itself is relatively plain or the seiyuu X made the whole film plain.

Video content:
Hayao Miyazaki likes fighter jets, but extremely hates war.
So this film only has fighter jets and no war scenes.
Miyazaki likes beautiful things.
So this film is very romantic, all kinds of petty bourgeoisie.

Because Miyazaki merges the two characters together, the story of different people becomes the story of one person.
It becomes a little unreasonable in the plot processing.
Imagine an originally poignant love story imposed on a technician who builds an airplane.

If this film is made completely according to the novel, I feel it will be very beautiful.
Or a complete biography of the inventor of the Type Zero fighter may also be shocking.
It's a pity that neither of them is. With the poignant love atmosphere, the emotional scene is only a quarter of the film, and it may not be.
It can even be said that the interspersed love story is very abrupt, even if it is removed, it will not affect much.
On the contrary, he gave a lot of points to the character of Jiro. I can't feel anything worth moving.

The propaganda film said that in those difficult times, people lived hard and worked hard. I want to motivate people today.
One of the themes of the movie is to live well.
I think this film is a very inspirational story, the little people work hard. But in the film you almost never realize it.

The male protagonist was born in a wealthy family, Shangdongda, entered the first-class company Mitsubishi.
When I first joined the company, I was sent to Germany to study and study. After returning to China, I was entrusted with important tasks.
After failing to develop the aircraft, he went to Japan's most famous summer resort for a leisurely vacation.
Be chased by a wealthy daughter, get engaged after a few days of knowing each other. Finally, the career was successful.
He is simply the hero of an online novel. There is no trace of pain.
The middle-class, petty bourgeoisie upper class society is the protagonist, and the description of ordinary people is too lacking.

There is no description of how the hero works hard for his dream.
How to develop the aircraft, the hardships and frustrations involved, except for a few days of shifting, I didn’t describe it any further.
The love process between the male lead and the female lead was almost zero. Within a few days of meeting, he directly proposed to his father-in-law. It's like a child pretending to be a family.

There were only a few shots of the damage caused by the earthquake. There was no panic, no yelling, and no pain of losing a loved one.
The Great Kanto Earthquake, which killed 100,000 people, looked like a big fire. People have no expressions other than indifference.
I didn't feel the horror of the earthquake at all.
The male protagonist was even more calm, and immediately started smoking and chatting with his buddies when he returned to school. . .
The depression, disasters, and wars after the earthquake are not well described.
One of the most complicated periods in Japanese history was completely absent.
Coupled with the excessive description of dreams, this film which is adapted from real history lacks a sense of historical heaviness.
It just tells a story straightforwardly.

In short, I feel that this film gives me the feeling that I want to show a lot of things, but nothing is in place.
There is no focus, it is too boiled, and there is no point of dramatic conflict.
It's like a beautifully written account composition.

Except for the music and pictures, this film is too ordinary.

Finally, write some of my views on the small details in the film.

The male protagonist and his colleagues went to Germany for investigation, and they were all despised by the Germans. They also said that the Japanese are too bad, and the skills they have seen will soon be learned.
I immediately thought of the Japanese people's various contempt for Chinese cottages. They did not do the same thing once.
The inevitable road to national industrialization. In the ridicule of others, slowly become stronger.

The male protagonist in the film does not seem to care about the war situation in Japan, deliberately avoiding his role in the war.
The best friend of the male protagonist also said that we were only flying by plane and not making murder props to comfort me.

The male protagonist chose to escape the heat in Karuizawa, because here is far away from war, away from everything, peaceful and harmonious.
It can let you escape the disputes in the world, but it is also a kind of self-comfort
There he met a mysterious foreigner, who told Erlang that German aircraft designers were unwilling to continue to make killing tools and refused to cooperate with Hitler.
But Jiro seemed indifferent. He didn't care whether the plane he built would bring misfortune to others. He ignored the illness of his fiancée.
Still ran to Nagoya to build his plane. It's not that he doesn't know the danger of fighter jets but just doesn't want to face it.

But the reality is cruel, and none of the Zero fighters made come back, and Japan has been devastated because of this.
Evasion is useless. In reality, Japanese people really like to avoid problems and avoid responsibilities.

The movie begins with a dream of a teenager and ends with a dream.

The story of a young man with dreams. He paid a lot for his dreams, but in the end it was just a dream.
And this young man can also be replaced by Japan and

Japan dreaming of catching up with the West and surpassing the West. He did not hesitate to embark on the road of war, dreaming of controlling East Asia and challenging hegemony
. After the failure, the mainland was in ruins. In fact, he had a dream.

Maybe it's not suitable for chasing dreams in adulthood. Keep your feet on the ground and don't pursue things that are too illusory.
Cherish your loved ones and live well.

I thought I was considerate enough when I watched this film, but looking back I found that I was still not considerate enough for people who were unfortunately born in a worse era. An anxious feeling of powerlessness permeates this film, and Miyazaki himself can't make Horikoshi more affectionate to his wife and more confident about his career, but he also can't step back. There is only a dream about the blue sky, a vast lyric that is trying to the end. Even if the wind blows, life never gives up. || In the documentary, Gong Lao turned over the completed script and saw the scene where the two held hands with one hand in front of the sick bed. He was very proud to say that I actually drew such a good plot. Yeah, it's really moving. Every time a character sheds tears.

Mr. Hayao Miyazaki finally made a film that he really wanted to make. The film is full of movies. The male protagonist rushed to the female protagonist's house overnight and went back immediately after meeting. This kind of plot only appeared in Mr. Kinoshita's movies before. The unavoidable preaching of the old director doesn't bother me either.
