The war ruined a street called heaven

The war destroyed a street called Paradise, and Miss Thought exists and is "eternal." Grim Reaper lightly tells a little story against this big background. The movie is so beautifully shot that it highlights its criticisms, just when I see the actors in different beautiful costumes I get a little hehe, but I love the criticisms, and if this film is made by me I will respond to those The audience who are obsessed with details, tell them that this is exactly what I am trying to convey.

Every character line has not exploded, different types of emotions are normal and distracting, fear is a peace that can be restrained, the tragic war has no need for more brush and ink, and death is quiet. I know music too well, but I think it's great.

The Germans' reflection on the war was sincere, profound and free.

Thanks to the great film and television beauty teacher Chang for recommending the film, I bought a one-year membership on Youku to watch the film, and I think it is worth it.

From the perspective of the god of death, it is quite unique to talk about the survival of small people in the context of war. There is almost no sensationalism in the whole film, but there is a strong sadness after watching it.

A more faithful adaptation of the original work, the Humbermanns portrayed them to life, the little girl is very cute, and Rudy's playfulness is a little less naughty. It is more successful in not deliberately showing the suffering, and the reflection on the two sides of the text is cut off, which is regrettable.

The Book Thief quotes

  • Liesel Meminger: There once was a ghost of a boy who liked to live in the shadows, so he wouldn't frighten people. His job was to wait for his sister, who was still alive. She wasn't afraid of the dark, because she knew that's where her brother was. At night, when darkness came to her room, she would tell her brother about the day. She would remind him how the sun felt on his skin, and what the air felt like to breathe, or how snow felt on his tongue. And that reminded her that she was still alive.

  • Narrator: [Narrator/Death] The only truth that I truly know is that I am haunted by humans.
