Buck is a hardy dog. He lived in Judge Mitchell's home in the south of San Francisco since he was a child, and was cared for and petted by his owner. In order to repay his gambling debts, Manuel, who gambled to his death, stole and sold Buck to a dog trader in one night. Later, he was sold to the wild and bitter north to do hard labor, and he has lived a hard life since then. The transformation of Buck's life made him learn how to protect himself and survive in a world of the jungle. However, Thornton saved it in Buck's second master. Thornton and Buck have a very strong relationship. After Thornton was killed by the natives, Buck also avenged and buried him. Finally, Buck finally returned to the embrace of nature. Buck's life was very stable, did he think that he would struggle to survive among the dogs? But it is very brave and strong, through the difficult days one by one, never back down.

Seeing that all the actors are working hard to cooperate with the growth of a special effect dog, there is no real feeling at all, and the drawbacks of high technology are undoubtedly revealed. There is no wildness in the novel, and Disney's cute pets are full of obedience. Nominated for the worst combination of golden raspberries, even lost to "Borat 2". 2

The CG is really a bit of a drama, but at the end it was quite moving. The original party thinks this material is not good to shoot.

The Call of the Wild quotes

  • John Thornton: [narrates] There's a place in these mountains where a new breed of timber wolf roams, wiser than men or wolf, because of the dog that runs at the head of a pack. Now... they live without fear, raise their young and flourish.

  • [last lines]

John Thornton: [narrates] Some say that's the legend. Not so. You see, I knew him once, when he was just a dog at a men side. And even all this land is his, every summer, when he comes down to the valley, he remembers kind hands and old masters... before he went to his own... became his own master... before he heard the call.
