I originally watched the movie just because of the handsomeness of Peacock. After reading the introduction, I was ready to be abused, but I still burst into tears.
Both homosexuality and AIDS seem to have always been discriminated against, especially in traditional places. A movie, the love of two people, and the struggle of a few people, intuitively shows us the indifference and discrimination of the majority in the face of gays and AIDS. That was the case back then, and it is still the case now.
In fact, homosexuals are no different from us. In fact, AIDS patients are also normal human beings. All we need to do is to be more tolerant, more understanding, and more helpful.
After watching the movie, the mood is heavy and depressing. But thanks to all the people in the movie, let me have a feast of the soul!
