This review was written five and a half years ago. Because the current affairs news reminded me of "Love Short Film" again, and needed Kieslowski's comfort, so I still sent it out.

-Hai Zi, "Morning Prayer Time"

If there's one thing that has given me hope for life on this land in recent years, it's probably this short film.

In 1988, socialist Poland, cramped gray apartments, bossy post office clerks, and milk that couldn't be delivered on time. But the ideological background was hidden by the director, and I only saw the 19-year-old boy shouting in the street: "But you cried last night, didn't you?" I saw the old woman pretending to be calm and confessed: "I'm old, no I need and don’t want anything, I just want someone to accompany me.” Seeing the lost beauty fantasizes that she can still be comforted by her lover when she is crying.

It was the year before in the square, but "you cried last night, didn't you", "I want to invite you to a coffee shop and have an ice cream", "I don't spy on you anymore", "I love you" ".

Life in a people's democratic country is heavy, poor, and hard, and what's worse, ideology is everywhere, distorting people's temperaments and tastes, and I gradually think that the people in it are either bad or stupid, and they look disgusting. I can't deny that in recent times my views on relationships between the sexes are similar to that of the heroine - there is no love, marriage is sex + common interests, so all relationships between the sexes are short-lived and unstable. I see the heroine in my way of thinking that ugly Poland has no love, the heroine's desire is my desire, her mockery of the teenager is my mockery, the shock she feels is my shock, the sadness she is immersed in It is my grief, her redemption is my redemption, and her tears of remorse are my tears.

Thanks Kieslowski. A heavy, poor and hard life does not deny the existence of love, so I still hope that one day I will reluctantly take each other away with someone. The world is cold and dangerous, but we keep each other warm.
