struggle across the 110th street

Quentin's lightest style, 150 minutes long, is a superb narrative, rhythm, and character creation. The narrative line of "White Night" has shocked many readers, but Quentin tried it in the 90s. It is neither bloody, violent, nor exaggerated. The daily atmosphere is mixed with gangsters, suspense, and plot embellishment. The story of a loss of love is well told and reasonable. Quentin's narrative skills are too strong, and even a woooo that opens the door of the car beats people's hearts precisely in rhythm. Every song in the film is like a revelation, a simile, and the theme is firmly and sternly, igniting or changing the rhythm in an instant. "Across the 110the street" at the beginning and the end of the movie is a metaphor for the whole film's theme. At the end, the black sister hummed, "Pimps will not let go of weak women, drug dealers will not let go of addicts", struggle to fight, Finally until dawn, the joy of victory was mixed with the tears that passed by with emotion, melted in this song, and the emotion was topped by the mountain. And The Delfonics didn't i blow your mind this time, the single is in the loop.

I saw this movie by chance, and the reason was that it was the wrong one. This can be regarded as the least well-known movie among Quentin’s directors. Compared with other works, it feels out of style. As a crime movie, it looks very casual. Litravolta walks like a twist dance, and here Samuel Jackson walks like a tap dance.

6/10. I'm so looking forward to seeing Quentin's signature arrogant and enjoyable lines + the spurting scene of bullets + the active atmosphere emphasized by plagiarism elements. As a result, only the sluggishness of not doing business has maintained the past style, chatting one after another. It was still so boring, the perverse and restrained and sudden conflict depictions between the characters disappeared, and they did not provide a hit point when they were bored. They could only rely on the arms dealers who gritted their teeth with hatred and did not lose their charm.

Jackie Brown quotes

  • Simone: [picks up the ringing phone] Hello. Oh, hello, baby. Well, you know, I'm just doin' that thing I do, baby.

    [laughs]

  • Ray Nicolet: Jackie, I hope you don't mind if I call you Jackie. Those guys down in Customs? They're a bunch of fuckin' pricks. Excuse me, but they are. There's something about that job makes those people really hard to get along with. Now, you can go down and talk with those guys, who are really suspicious and just really disagreeable human beings or you can talk with a couple of good-hearted guys like Mark and myself. Its up to you.
