The outcome I hope is: Ted left John without being rescued by Lori's wish, as he promised. John started to take work seriously and married Lori. He put Ted sealed with a red thread in the bedroom as if he was still with him. Until he had a son, John gave Ted to his son and told him Ted's story since he was a child. On Christmas Eve, the son made a wish that Ted would come alive, and finally Ted returned to this home.
