The last scene, a huge sublimation. (Spoiler, don't watch it before watching the movie!!)

While watching a movie, I thought for a long time how to write this film review, because I like to talk about movies from a technical level. The editing is bright, the shots are switched in a sophisticated way, and the plot is compact. Korean movies have always been known for their long shots, but this one uses extremely fast The camera switch creates a fascinating effect, and the special effects are very "cloverland" style, absolutely not losing any Hollywood movies of the same kind, and it can even be said to be the best in the secret room theme.
After watching the movie, think. . . This is all fucking bullshit. . . . .

Let's start with being banned.
Every Chinese who loves movies will complain that the SARFT's ban on film cutting has seriously hindered the development of domestic films, but after watching this film, I really feel that no matter from which angle, there are good reasons for being banned. Not to mention that the good guys win, the bad guys fail, the usual idea of radio and television review films has been torn apart. Even the anchor who was driven by the duck and may become the voice of the public’s voice for fairness, finally pressed the detonation button instead of the terrorist in despair— ————I always thought that cult movies have unique shooting methods, or neurotic images, or full of black humor, but I never thought that the ending of a secret room movie dealing with terrorist activities is a classic cult in the soul, which is unacceptable. But I had to accept it. For such a film, I would rather believe that the SARFT’s ban on the film also carries with it immense regret. As a film, it is impeccable, but as a mass media work, its uncovered exposure to social contradictions and human nature is indeed far from hiding. Exceeding the bottom line of the censorship department-hurry up and implement classification. This film seems to be suitable for all ages, but I think it should be classified to the sane people over 25 years old.
If Hollywood comes to shoot such a theme, it must be that the anchor has been suppressed to the limit by terrorists. The president apologized but the terrorists refused to accept it. Then the clever anchor Chen Cang cooperated with the brave counter-terrorism team to catch the criminals and save the hostages. Of course, the criminals also won everyone. Sympathy, and even the ending will be a righteous punch in the face of so-and-so boss who only cares about his own interests. . .
However, Korean movies are not shot like this. An anchor who was bribed and demoted wanted to use this opportunity to make a turnaround; a radio director who retaliated because of being kicked away told his opponent to leak secrets; a leader of an snc TV station could sacrifice hostages for ratings. And his subordinate anchor; a self-employed chief of the police chief did not put terrorists in his eyes and was killed; there was also the director of the Blue House office who was accused of guilty of terrorist activities, and a person who refused to apologize and only heard his voice. The president, performed a good show of defending each other's interests in their respective positions. The plot is entangled and unpredictable. When we use Hollywood habits to think about the development of the plot, we find that we always fail, like the uncomfortable punching and emptying. For a time, I even wondered why the director was really tossing people———— ——Until the end, the TV station building was installed with explosives. The anchor was told by the Blue House that the matter was of great importance and he must be a scapegoat to bear all the consequences; the hostages including his ex-wife died; terrorists with a tendency to plead guilty were rescued by the anchor—— -He was shot to death by the police; and the police actually shot the anchorman.
Yes, seeing here I know that everyone will do that.
The anchor picked up the detonator, looked at the special police who came to arrest him, and pressed the button to detonate the building. There was no surrender and no argument. After being betrayed, fooled, and parting in life and death in just a few hours, he pressed the button.
There are no good people, no bad people, no winning or losing, no justice and evil, some are just scenes of the government's arrogance and ugliness, humanity's despicableness and filthyness, and some are just the struggle of small people from terrorists to anchors, using their own lives.
The writing is very messy, too many things have happened to everyone, and my ability is not yet able to generalize in concise language, just some random thinking. Very "cult" film review, I think.

  • Yeong-hwa Yoon: Why me?

Park Shin-Woo: Still, I thought you would be different. You're all the same. That's why you're dying. Then, I'll stand there and end things myself.

Yeong-hwa Yoon: Please, Mr. Park... Please, please don't kill me. Please, sir! Please! I beg you! Please! Let me live! Let me out, please.

Park Shin-Woo: Keep being like that. Groveling under damn bastards. Live like that, then die.
