The Wizard of Oz

Reading a movie review before watching a movie is a bit lazy, and I find that it is a bit lazy. Many clips that need to be watched and thought by myself, because after reading other people's summary, thinking about it always feels that it carries other people's ideas. So I began to restrain myself, starting from knowing nothing except the title. Of course, time is precious. In order to avoid stepping on thunder, I generally only use this method for classic movies. I firmly believe that a movie can become a classic word-of-mouth. It is definitely worth seeing if it crosses such a distant space and time from their country and pushes it to me.

The Wizard of Oz is such a classic movie worth watching. I was lowered by the various inconsistent plots in current movies and TV shows. Today I saw such a logically flawless movie, and I was actually moved. I won’t say much about the various comparisons. At first, I was not very interested. I watched it with a sense of passing time until the Scarecrow said that he had no brain. The little girl said that without a brain, how could he speak? The Scarecrow said I don’t know. , But there are a lot of people who have no brains but talk a lot, don’t they? It was this sentence that made me feel interesting all at once.

Generally speaking, she is very cute. The little girl is sincere and kind. She is a little cowardly but basically brave. She has a clear goal. No matter what she experiences on the road, she has never forgotten her goal. In the movie, people who feel that they have no brains are the smartest, those who feel that they are heartless are the most willing to love others, and those who feel that they are the least courageous are the ones who don’t even want to jump the fastest when the little girl falls into the pigpen. Go down to save her. Maybe people are mostly like this, they may not be eager, but they have not found it or are still not enough. We should all learn to discover the light in and around ourselves.

Nothing compares to home. I agree with this sentence. If some friends feel that there is no way to agree, it is recommended to replace family members on their own. For example, the original family is not very good, so you can set up a family by yourself. Family members: yourself.

good luck.

75 years later, it is still charming. No matter how remakes and special effects are improved in the future, Judy Garland's singing voice that fits so well can't be replicated. Today, I learned that "Over the Rainbow" was originally from the movie "The Wizard of Oz"

Re-watching, I saw some cult flavors. The scene of the Southern Witch being pressed under the house and wearing ruby shoes is still so shocking. There is also over the rainbow, the cedar trees and poppy garden that I didn’t pay attention to before, Tin Man’s MJ "Smooth Criminal), the great master’s irony. Everyone is so cute and laughs all the time. It’s so good! If in the future I have a puppy and I want to be called Toto! (Film Festival, 3D, Dolby, Giant Screen)

The Wizard of Oz quotes

  • The Cowardly Lion: I'll get you anyway, Peewee.

    [Chases Toto]

Dorothy: [smacking him on the nose] Shame on you!

The Cowardly Lion: [sobbing] Why did you do that for? I didn't bite him!

Dorothy: No, but you tried to. It's bad enough picking on a straw man, but when you go around picking on poor little dogs!

The Cowardly Lion: Well, you didn't have hit me, didja?

    [sobs]

The Cowardly Lion: Is my nose bleeding?

    Dorothy: Well, of course not.

    [he continues to sob]

Dorothy: My goodness, what a fuss you're making!

  • The Cowardly Lion: [singing] If I were king of the fore-e-e-est / Not queen, not duke, not prince / My regal robes of the fore-e-e-est / Would be satin, not cotton, not chintz / I'd command each thing, whether fish or fowl / With a r-r-ruff and a r-r-ruff, and a royal growl - R-R-Ruff! / As I click my heels / All the trees would kneel / And the mountains bow / And the bulls kowtow / And the sparrow would take wing / If I, if I were ki-i-i-i-ng! / The rabbits would show respect to me / The chipmunks genuflect to me / Though my tail would lash / I would show compash / For every underling / If I, if I were king / Just ki-i-i-i-ing!
